Routine visits for dental exams and cleanings near Silverdale, WA, are the foundation of good oral health. These visits reduce your oral health risks by allowing us to remove plaque and tartar while checking for early signs of problems.
We use advanced digital diagnostics to check for issues that aren’t visible to the naked eye, such as early cavities. This allows us to address any developing problems as early as possible, ensuring your treatments are as comfortable, predictable, and affordable as possible.
Dental sealants are a simple and effective way to significantly reduce the risk of tooth decay. Certain teeth, especially the molars, have tiny pits and grooves that are too narrow for toothbrush bristles to clean effectively. A sealant is a physical barrier that prevents bacteria from entering these grooves, thereby blocking the formation of cavities. We frequently recommend dental sealants near Silverdale, WA shortly after a child’s permanent molars erupt, before they have a chance to develop early stages of tooth decay.
Fluoride is a natural mineral like calcium or phosphorus that’s commonly found in groundwater. It has a unique ability to strengthen and reinforce the minerals in your teeth. These minerals can be leached away by acid exposure, usually from bacteria, which can slowly weaken your enamel and lead to cavities or enamel erosion.
As fluoride is incorporated into the tooth, it creates a stronger, denser type of mineral that’s much more resistant to damage. Regular fluoride treatments near Silverdale, WA, are a simple and affordable way to protect your family’s teeth and keep them healthy.
Dental emergencies can be scary and painful. At Pollard Dental, we understand that you need prompt, compassionate care when unexpected problems arise.

We provide durable tooth-colored cavity fillings near Silverdale, WA. While it’s our goal to prevent issues and keep your family’s smiles cavity-free, problems can still arise, even for the most diligent brushers. Our cutting-edge hard tissue laser enables us to treat cavities without the need for a dental drill. This makes our process for cavity fillings more comfortable and significantly less stressful, even for people with dental anxiety.
Dental crowns cover and surround damaged teeth. This versatile solution can restore full strength, function, and beauty to cracked, broken, weak, and severely decayed teeth. A crown can also be used to complete a dental implant, replacing a missing tooth. With our in-house CEREC mill, we can craft same-day porcelain crowns near Silverdale, WA, in just one visit, so you can enjoy a fully restored smile without the wait.
Dental bridges replace missing teeth with a false tooth fused to crowns on either side. We anchor these crowns to natural teeth or dental implants on either side of the gap to restore a complete smile and a fully functional bite.
This prevents your remaining teeth from shifting and protects them from excess strain due to an incomplete bite, preventing worn enamel, cracks, and further tooth loss. Like our same-day dental crowns, we can use advanced CEREC technology to craft dental bridges near Silverdale, WA, in a single visit.
Each tooth is kept healthy and vital by tiny nerves, blood vessels, and soft tissue called the pulp. The root canal of a tooth is a tiny tunnel that allows these structures to reach the innermost part of the tooth, called the pulp chamber. In some cases, the nerve or pulp of the tooth can become damaged or infected, leading to significant pain and an increased risk of serious health problems if left untreated.
Root canal therapy is a procedure that cleans out the inside of the tooth, removes infected tissue, and seals the tooth, thereby preventing the need for extraction. We’re proud to provide safe and comfortable root canal therapy near Silverdale, WA, to help you keep your teeth and protect your health.
Early childhood visits to a trusted family dentist can set your child up for a lifetime of better oral health. By building positive memories at the dental office, we can help prevent dental anxiety, allowing your child to feel confident and receive the care they need.
